Streets Closed For Hospital Demolition Near Arena

Crews Will Try For A Second Time To Bring Down Building

 

PITTSBURGH —

Streets and sidewalks are shut down in preparation for the demolition of the former Saint Francis Hospital in Pittsburgh.

Lanes are now reduced on Centre Avenue until Friday.

The sidewalk is also closed.

Crews will try for a second time to bring down the hospital on Friday.

The demolition will make way for a new parking garage in addition to the a Penguins' hockey arena.
