COLLIER TOWNSHIP, Pa. —
The owner of Napoli’s Pizza wasn’t at work that night, but his daughter was there.
“She said, ‘Dad, they’re running through the back door saying they’re shooting the place up,’” said Bob Steffl, business owner.
Steffl was on the phone with his daughter when witnesses came in to the Napoli’s Pizza screaming.
Nine employees and a dozen or so patrons were in the restaurant at the time.
The surveillance video shows men and women still in their gym clothes running through the back door and looking for a place to hide.

Steffl said a former Marine had everyone’s back. He leapt into action and secured both doors.
“They were freaking out. You would have thought they were hit. That’s how shaken up they were,” said Steffl.

George Sodini, 48, of Scott Township, killed Elizabeth Gannon, Heidi Overmier and Jody Billingsley, police said.
Wednesday, witnesses returned to the scene where Sodini killed three women, injured nine and turned the gun on himself.
Joann Gazzam, who was taking part in the weekly "Latin impact" dance aerobics class, said she saw the gunman walk to the back of the room near some weights, set down a bag and fumble with it for a few minutes before coming up with what appeared to be two guns and opening fire, according to her sister, Debi Wozniak, of suburban Dormont.
Gazzam told Wozniak that the instructor was among those who appeared to have been shot, and that the gunman had killed himself.
"She told me, 'Debi, I seen everything. Oh, my God, I seen everything. I seen him pull out the guns,"' said Wozniak, who usually attends the class but was running late Tuesday and didn't make it.
Jennifer Rose was one of eight class members who hid in a closet when Sodini opened fire.
"The closet was the closest thing for us," Rose said. "We didn't know where the shooter was."
"All of us girls were just ducking behind each other and it was just, you know, I was behind a girl, one of the girls in front to get hit, and when he was in the opposite corner shooting, I booked it," said witness Stacey Falk.
"He shut lights off, so you couldn't see where you were going. And he's a coward," said witness Lisa Myl. "He was going after all of us. I mean, someone we don't even know. Forty eight years old, twice my age, just coming after us in a room with a gun. I think if people had seen this blog and maybe spoken up and said something, this could have been prevented."
"He knew that class was full of girls -- to single (out) defenseless women, that's sickening," said witness Stacey Folk, who was also in the aerobics class.
"I truly believe angels got me and my friend out of there," Myl said.
Pregnant aerobics instructor Mary Primis, 26, still has a bullet lodged in her back, near her lungs. The baby is doing fine, doctors said.

Witness Richard Walker said he carried a woman to safety.
"I never thought I'd run that fast with somebody in my arms," said Walker.
"It scares me because it could have been my class," said LA Fitness member Branson Holly. "It could have been the day care facility. I think they shut down at 8 p.m."
Loretta Moss, 44, of McDonald, told Channel 11 News she was exercising on a treadmill when she heard a popping noise Tuesday night.
"I didn't pay any attention, and the next minute, people were screaming," said Moss. "We lay down, and then after the last set of ... gunshots, we got up, and someone said, 'Run.'"
Moss said she then saw two young women bleeding, one shot in the leg and one in the shoulder. She said she checked on the pulse of the lady shot in the leg.
"She was screaming, 'It's burning, just please call the ambulance,"' Moss said.
Channel 11 spoke with a witness who said he carried one of the victims out of the gym.
"I carried one of the girls out. She got shot in her thigh," said the witness. "She said she was going to die. She was freaking out. It was one of the scariest things I've ever seen -- like a movie."
