Teenager Dies After Crash With School Bus

 

PENN HILLS —

The medical examiner's office confirmed Friday night that 16-year-old Robert Chambers died after the car, in which he was riding crashed with an empty school bus.

The accident happened on Stotler Road in Penn Hills Friday afternoon around four.

Police said the car in which Chambers was travelling lost control and slammed into a utility pole and then into the bus.

Chambers was entrapped and needed rescuing. He was taken to Forbes Regional Hospital, where he later died.

A 20-year-old woman was in the car with Chambers. She was also taken to Forbes Regional with injuries. There is no word on her current condition.

An autopsy will be completed Saturday on Chambers to find the exact cause of death.
