Thieves Scam Nearly $2,000 In Video Games From Store

Robbers Took 51 Games, Various Accessories

 

HEMPFIELD TOWNSHIP, Pa. —

State police said three thieves ripped of a local toy store for nearly $2,000 in video games and equipment.

Greensburg police said two males and a female entered Toys R Us on Donohoe Road in Hempfield Township, Westmoreland County, on Saturday.

According to officials, the males removed items from the shelves as the female placed items in a container, then a cart. The thieves then left the store with the stolen property.

The thieves took off with 51 video games and various other accessories.

The total value of stolen property was $1,713.62.

An investigation is still under way.
