Tiger Ranch Owner To Stand Trial

Hundreds Of Cats Found During Cat Sanctuary Raid

PITTSBURGH —

The owner of the Tiger Ranch Cat Sanctuary will stand trial on nearly 600 animal cruelty charges.

Linda Bruno, 45, is accused of keeping hundreds of cats at the no kill shelter, many of them sick or dying.

Bruno reportedly took in about 6,500 cats in 2007; only 14 were adopted.

Tuesday, a judge ruled Bruno will stand trial because of public interest in the case.
