Top Police Official Comes Out Of Retirement, Hired As Mt. Lebo Police Chief

 

MT. LEBANON, Pa. —

One of the state's top police officials is coming out of retirement and heading to Mt. Lebanon for an important job.

On Monday, Coleman McDonough, 53, took the role as Mt. Lebanon police chief.

McDonough was selected from nearly 60 applicants for the position.

Last year, he retired from the state police as a lieutenant colonel and deputy commissioner for the staff of Harrisburg.
