Parkway North Drivers Sould Expect Road Blocks This Weekend

Crews will be working along the Parkway North in several locations this weekend.

A single lane pattern will be set up inbound between Interstate 79 and Bellevue / West View from 7 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday. On Saturday between 6 a.m. and noon flaggers will occasionally stop all traffic in both directions in the area of the East Street Valley. Earlier Saturday, crews will shut down the HOV Lanes with restrictions lifted at 3 p.m. The Union Avenue overpass will be blocked off 7 p.m. Friday through 2 p.m. Sunday.

Parkway East inbound single lane restrictions will last from 9 p.m. Friday until 9 a.m. Saturday between the Plum and Churchill Interchanges.

Route 28 northbound remains closed between the 62nd Street and Highland Park Bridges.

Traffic along Route 65 will be down to one lane approaching the Fort Duquesne Bridge on Saturday and Sunday, 6 a.m. to noon.

Anyone traveling I-79 southbound from the Turnpike to Warrendale could see delays from 7 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Monday.

Between 8 p.m. Friday and 5 a.m. Monday the Liberty Bridge outbound Crosstown Boulevard and inbound Boulevard of the Allies ramps will be closed.
