Below is a summary of the major closings and restrictions this weekend:

Parkway East

Short–term lane closures on the eastbound Parkway East (I-376) in the area of the South 10th Street Bridge will occur from 6:30 to 11 a.m. on Saturday morning beginning at the Grant Street on-ramp through the overpass area for inspection activities.

Fort Duquesne Bridge

Single lane closures on the ramps from southbound Route 65 (Ohio River Boulevard) and southbound I-279 (Parkway North) to the Fort Duquesne Bridge will occur 7 p.m. Friday to 11 a.m.Saturday. One lane on the approaches will remain open at all times. Crews will be conducting drainage work.

Fort Pitt Bridge

A single, left-lane closure on the inbound (eastbound upper deck) of the Fort Pitt Bridge (I-376) will occur 6:30 a.m. to noon Saturday. Both center lanes and the right lane will remain open. All ramps and exits will remain open. Crews will be conducting inspection activities.

Liberty Tunnel

The Liberty Tunnel will be closed in both directions from 10 p.m. Friday to 6 a.m. Saturday.

Interstate 79

Single lane traffic will occur on northbound I-79 in the area of Mingo Road between Exit 73 and 75 in Marshall Township 10 p.m. Friday through 7 p.m. Saturday. Crews will be shifting traffic onto the newly reconstructed right side of the northbound bridge. Necessary work to complete the shift includes barrier resetting and line painting. Once the shift is completed, two lanes of traffic will be restored on northbound I-79 in this area.

A short-term, single lane closure on northbound I-79 in Franklin Park Borough will occur between 6-9 a.m. Saturday. The brief lane closure is necessary as contractor crews conduct guide rail repairs just north of the I-279 Exit 72 Interchange. All exits and ramps will remain open.

Parkway West

Single lane closures on the outbound (westbound) Parkway West (I-376) between the Carnegie and Rosslyn Farms interchanges will occur from 6 a.m. to noon Sunday. Crews from will be conducting routine bridge inspection activities.

Interstate 579-Crosstown Boulevard

Single lane traffic in both directions on I-579 (Crosstown Boulevard) between the Liberty Bridge and Forbes Avenue will occur 8 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. on Monday. Crews will be painting overhead ramps.

The ramp from the Liberty Bridge to northbound I-579 will be closed this weekend from 8 p.m. Friday continuously through 6 a.m. on Monday. Crews will be replacing expansion dams on the ramp. Signs will be posted to guide motorists onto Forbes Avenue.

Clairton Glassport Bridge

The Clairton Glassport Bridge will be closed 8 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. on Monday. The bridge carries traffic over the Monongahela River between Route 837 in Clairton and (Glassport-Elizabeth Road) in Glassport. Crews will be replacing expansion joints on the bridge over the weekend.
