PITTSBURGH —
Parkway East (I-376)
Work to improve bridge transitions on the Parkway East between Grant/Stanwix Street and Edgewood Swissvale will occur from 7 p.m. Friday through 1 p.m. Traffic patterns will change according to peak and off-peak times.
Interstate 79
Single lane traffic will occur in both directions on I-79 in the area of the bridge over Mingo Road between Exits 73 and 75 in Marshall Township. Restrictions will occur from 10 p.m. Friday to 7 a.m. Saturday.
Southbound I-79 in Robinson and Kennedy townships will be reduced to a single lane from 7 p.m. Friday through 6 a.m. Monday from the Neville Island Bridge to the Crafton/Route 60 interchange. The southbound on-ramp from Route 51 will be closed.
Route 28
Traffic on southbound (inbound) Route 28 will be reduced to a single lane from 8 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Saturday. Access to the 40th Street Bridge from southbound Route 28 will also be closed. All southbound traffic on Route 28 will be required to use the express lane traveling under the 40th Street Bridge. Crews will be installing protective barrier along southbound Route 28 between the 40th and 31st Street Bridges.
