Troops Honored In Beaver County

ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. —

A "Support Our Troops" rally was held Saturday in Ellwood City.

Vicki Henley and her sisters, who founded the Yellow Ribbon Girls, hosted the rally.

They send up to 120 care packages a month to Iraq and Afghanistan.

Those care packages contain everything from toiletries to Girl Scout cookies.

Saturday's event was also to raise money for those efforts.

Vicki Henley told Channel 11, "The best thing always is when a soldier comes and thanks us and gives us a big hug because most of the people we don't know and we'll never meet."
