Two Hurt In Sewickley Township Accident

SEWICKLEY TWP, Pa. —

Officials said two men were injured when the car they were driving in struck a pole early Monday morning.

Police said speeding is believed to be a factor in the crash, which happened in the 1300 block of Greensburg Pike just before 1 a.m.

Both victims, whose names have not been released, were transported to Pittsburgh-area hospitals.

The accident caused wires to come down, which caused a power outage in the area for several hours. Power has since been restored to the area.

State police are investigating the crash.
