UNIONTOWN: Parent Charged With Assaulting School Principal
UNIONTOWN, Pa. —
An irate parent of a Uniontown Area School District student is behind bars after she allegedly assaulted her son’s principal at a school in Uniontown Friday.
Uniontown police Detective Donald M. Gmitter said Wendy Thomas, 40, of 50 Lawton Ave. Apt. 1, was charged before Magisterial District Judge Dwight K. Shaner with aggravated assault, simple assault, disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia following the incident.
