Uniontown Toddler Falls Out Of Second-Story Window

SOUTH UNION TWP. —

State police in Uniontown are investigating how a 3-year-old toddler fell out of a second-story window Monday afternoon in the Surrey Hill Apartment complex in South Union Township.

Police said the girl's injuries are not life-threatening.

State police Trooper Charles Morrison said the girl was taken by ambulance to Uniontown Hospital and later transported to Children's Hospital in Pittsburgh as a precautionary measure.

Police said the incident occurred at 12:24 p.m. Neither the identity of the child nor her parents were released.
