United States Prepares For Pope Benedict XVI Visit

 

PITTSBURGH —

We're just hours away from the Pope's arrival in the United States.

Tuesday, will be the first time Pope Benedict XVI has visited our country. Pittsburghers are heading to the east coast for a chance to see him.

The pope flies from Rome to Washington, D.C. on Tuesday. The pope will spend a couple of days there before going onto New York. He returns to Rome on Sunday.

Channel 11 News reporter Gordon Loesch will be there when the Pope arrives.
