Vandals Damage Several Cars On South Side

A random act of violence leaves about a dozen parked cars smashed.

It happened overnight in the South Side.

Police said two people used bats or pipes to smash the cars' windows, but didn't steal anything from the vehicles.

The cars were parked in a four- block area with the majority of cars hit at the intersection of 26th and Jane Street.

No arrests have been made.
