MOUNT LEBANON, Pa. —
The break happened shortly before 7 a.m. along Country Club Drive. Witnesses said the water ran down the hill and damaged homes on Briarwood Avenue.
One woman told Channel 11 News she had 3 to 4 inches of water in her garage and family room.
“I thought it was raining, because I heard water,” said Jane Alcom. “Then, I thought it was maybe the air conditioner. But we found out when we opened the garage door what the sound was. So, it came in, and fortunately, it didn't do too much damage.”
Crews were able to turn off the water. There's no word on whether any customers were affected by the break.
