Schools Closed For Second Day

PITTSBURGH —

Water crews continue to try and fix a massive water main break in the Lincoln Place section of the city.

Water crews are installing two 30-inch valves to redirect the water around the broken pipe while it is repaired.

Munhall Borough leaders said nearly 1,000 people are without water service. Others may have low water pressure.

Pittsburgh City Council President Doug Shields is calling for a state investigation.

He said the problem should have been taken care of sooner.

Pittsburgh American Water crews said they are not sure when the repairs will be completed.
