Worker Recovering After Being Hurt On Transmitter Tower

 

PITTSBURGH —

A man was recovering in a Pittsburgh hospital after getting stranded on a Fox 53 transmitter tower in the Summer Hill section of Pittsburgh.

Authorities said the man, whose name hasn’t been released, broke his ankle and was having trouble climbing down from the tower early Monday afternoon.

Once rescued, the injured worker was taken to Allegheny General Hospital for treatment.
