Pittsburgh police seek man who robbed East Liberty pizza shop at gunpoint

PITTSBURGH — A gun was pointed at employees of a pizza shop in Pittsburgh’s East Liberty neighborhood Friday night during a robbery, police said.

The armed robbery was reported just before 8:30 p.m. at the Domino's Pizza on Sheridan Square.

Police said a masked man pointed a silver revolver at employees who were behind the counter and demanded that the cashier empty the register. He fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

No one was injured.

The man is described as black, possibly between 35 and 45 years old, 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing between 250 and 275 pounds. In addition to a mask, he was wearing a dark gray jacket over a light gray hoodie and a checkered shirt, dark pants, a black tassel hat and black sunglasses.
