WILKINS TOWNSHIP, Pa. - A Michigan man is facing child endangerment charges after police said he left five children alone in a local hotel room.
Four 10-year-olds and a 13-year-old were found at the Comfort Inn in Wilkins Township Tuesday night.
Investigators said the oldest child said they came to Pittsburgh to sell candy for a foundation..
Police said the kids went to the front desk for help and that’s when police were called.
Glenn Wheaton was taken into custody after returning three hours later. Officers said he had been drinking.
