SWISSVALE, Pa. — Police have arrested a man who they believe shot a 16-year-old boy in Swissvale Sunday.
David Maurice Lucas, 35, is facing several charges, including attempted homicide and aggravated assault.
Officers were called to the 7500 block of Roslyn Street and found the teen with a gunshot wound to his lower extremities.
The victim was transported to a hospital and is expected to survive.
Detectives recovered a total of nine spent .40-caliber cartridge casings at the scene.
A be-on-the-lookout alert was issued for Lucas and the vehicle he was using.
Lucas was located by police Sunday and taken to Allegheny County Jail where he will await arraignment.
