Police looking for woman who robbed Robinson Twp. Sheetz

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police are investigating a daylight robbery Friday at a Sheetz gas station in Robinson Township.

Channel 11's Renee Kaminski reported that a woman was responsible for the robbery, but police are still looking for her.

According to police, the woman bought two Slim Jim’s and asked for directions. She then told the clerk to read a note, which said to empty the cash register drawer and to not push any buttons.

“It was pretty busy at the time I don't think anyone knew what was going on at the time - they immediately closed the store,” said Officer Mike Gastgeb.

The woman was wearing all black and had her hand in her purse during the robbery, indicating she had a weapon, police said.

No one was hurt.

The convenience store of the Sheetz was closed while investigators remained at the scene. It reopened shortly after 2 p.m.
