Police: Man accused of killing Wilkins Twp. woman kills himself

WILKINS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Those closest to a woman murdered in Wilkins Township may never get answers.

The man who Delicious Jones' family believe was responsible, though he wasn't officially charged, shot and killed himself over the weekend.

"She was everything to me.  That's who I'd go to when I had a problem.  If she had a problem, she would call me," said friend Marcus Roach.

Jones' body was found in the woods near her home, and her boyfriend, William Arrington, was accused in her death.

"I know she was trying to end it.  The last time she tried to end it, she told him to leave.  He said, 'You can't make me,'" said Roach.

Roach said the two had a rocky relationship and Jones feared Arrington would kill her.

Police said Arrington beat Jones to death and then went to his parents' house in Wilkinsburg where he fatally shot himself.

Arrington died in the hospital before he was charged with homicide, police said.

Jones leaves behind two daughters, ages 12 and 16.

Her family is unable to pay for her funeral and is asking for help.  The family established the "Delicious Jones Memorial Fund," and donations can be made at any Citizens Bank branch.
