PITTSBURGH — Police said a man jumped into the Ohio River after being involved in a car crash Tuesday afternoon.
According to officials the accident occurred at Corliss street and West Carson street in Pittsburgh. A man exited one of the vehicles then ran along the railroad tracks, eventually jumping into the Ohio River, according to police.
Investigators said the man was in the river for a short time before being taken into custody.
Crews were still working to remove injured people from the wreckage, according to officials.
No other details about the incident have been released.
