Police searching for 2 suspects involved in retail thefts, assaults

PITTSBURGH — The Ross Police Department is searching for two people it said were involved in retail thefts and assaults.

Police said Corren Dolores Holman, 27, of Oakdale, assaulted a customer who tried to help an Ulta manager detain her on May 13. She is being charged with retail theft and simple assault.%

Ulta surveillance video shows three employees running for the doors, trying to stop a suspected shoplifter. Holman is seen wearing sunglasses and carrying a large blue bag. A male employee wrestles the bag from her hands, but is shown fighting hard to get away. Holman then hits a female employee with her shoe, allowing her to get away.

Holman and Kyle Benjamin Ilgenfritz, 28, of Pittsburgh are both wanted on suspicion of a retail theft on May 20 at Target. Holman was being detained by store loss prevention when Ilgenfritz assaulted the loss prevention agent in an attempt to help Holman escape, police said.

Charges in this incident include retail theft, simple assault and conspiracy.

Police believe Ilgenfritz is Holman’s get-away driver.

Holman has a similar arrest warrant issued for her in Butler County, where police said she stole $1,600 worth of merchandise at an Ulta.

“They're not doing this for the make-up, so then you have to ask yourself “what are they doing this for and when will they do it again?” said Sgt. Ben Dripps of Ross Township Police.

The pair may be linked to other thefts in Homestead, Upper St. Clair and Pittsburgh, police said.
