PITTSBURGH — One person is in police custody and another is on the run after a pursuit and crash early Monday morning in South Oakland.
The crash was reported shortly before 3 a.m. in the area of Forbes Avenue. Police had pursued the vehicle after responding to South 18th Street for a report of shots fired, Channel 11’s Steven Fisher reported.
One person was arrested after the vehicle crashed into a grassy area, causing damage to its passenger side.
A second person ran from the scene. Police were seen searching a wooded area for that person.
