PITTSBURGH - Police are investigating an accident in which a car went over a hillside on Pittsburgh’s North Side on Thursday.
Police said a woman drove through a fence. The car then flipped on its roof and slid 30 feet down a hillside, according to police.
The driver, whose name has not been released, was taken to Allegheny General Hospital.
“She was actually crawling out of the car. I was standing on the street. There were other people around the car. They helped her the rest of the way out,” said witness Robert Kozicki.
The woman told witnesses that she was hit and swerved before she crashed through the fence.
