Police: Women arrested for doing drugs in front of 4 children at Washington Co. hotel

CANTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Police said two women were doing drugs in a Washington County hotel and four young children were with them.

Police said Vanessa Mutschler, 27, and her friend, Nyeacha Wilson, 24, were high on drugs at the Best Value Inn and Suites in Canton Township when they arrived.

Owner Kishor Patel said he helped them check in on Thursday.  He said the women used the children to make him feel guilty and with the proper identification, he couldn't turn them away.

"The sad part is the children have to pay for it," said a Canton Township resident.

Police said the women used the room to smoke crack and inject heroin in front of four small children, ranging from 18 months to 5 years old.

"They made a big mess," said Patel.

Police said there were needles, spoons and empty stamp bags in the room.

According to police, the hotel room was filthy and filled with food and garbage.

The children were taken into emergency police custody and then to Child Youth Services.

Both women were charged with drug violations and endangerment charges.
