PITTSBURGH — The Pittsburgh Bureau of Police Missing Persons Unit is asking for the public’s assistance locating a missing 66-year-old man who has health issues.

Lawrence Fannings was last seen about 4:30 a.m. Friday leaving Moorhead Tower Apartments on North Craig Street in the city’s Oakland neighborhood. Police said he has unspecified health issues that put him at risk, and he frequents the Popeyes and McDonald’s restaurants in Oakland.

Fannings is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds, according to police. He has a scar on the right side of his neck and “Larry & Jewel” tattooed on his right arm.

Anyone with information about Fannings’ whereabouts is asked to call 911.
