Gretchen Clemens, who lives on National Pike Road in Donegal Township, said she found water in her yard and her back porch. The water had receded by the time Clemens saw it, but she said it was still almost up to her garage.
"It's devastating," said Clemens. "My husband and I worked so hard for everything."
In the basement, there was so much water that the Clemens couldn't even walk all the way down their steps. They said it's the second time since last weekend that the house has flooded.
Neighbor Paula Jester lives right by a creek, and her yard was trashed with mud.
Route 40 was also blocked off by several mudslides during the day. Lake Road was also flooded and had to be shut down.
