PITTSBURGH - A trail of money was left behind after someone robbed an Eat N’ Park in Banksville Thursday.
Channel 11’s Brandon Hudson was there when police recovered some of the money along Banksville Road.
Police said a man walked into the restaurant and passed a note to an employee demanding money. Investigators said there were no customers inside the eatery at the time of the robbery and no injuries were reported.
Despite leaving that trail of cash, the robber was not caught. Detectives said the man got away with $300 or $400.
Officers said they did track the robber to a nearby Days Inn, but he was still able to get away.
