BUTLER, Pa. - The Butler County sheriff showed only Channel 11 the courtroom surveillance video of an angry defendant.
Officials said Brian Connor bashed out a window as he ran out of the courtroom packed with witnesses.
“It was crazy. He got up. He was very angry all over house arrest,” said witness Angie Schlegel.
Officials said Connor didn’t like the DUI plea deal he was offered.
“He ran out of the courtroom. He bashed a window in and took off to the bathroom.
In a matter of seconds, officials closed every entrance to the courthouse.
“My guys did a great job. They were all over the courthouse. There was no way he was going to get away from us,” said Sheriff Mike Slupe.
Connor is charged with terroristic threats, institutional vandalism and disorderly conduct.
