PITTSBURGH —
The charges against Lindsey Paulat were changed Friday morning and stemmed from an incident at Wilson’s Pine Township house on Jan 19.
Paulat no longer faces aggravated assault and reckless endangerment charges; but the 26-year-old is being charged with discharging a weapon.
According to police, Paulat fired two shots after she and Wilson got into an argument. Wilson had left the home, but Paulat held police at bay for nearly 12 hours, forcing police to evacuate some nearby homes.
Paulat told the media on Friday that she was in an abusive relationship with Wilson. She said that he sent at least 30 degrading and harassing text messages to Paulat’s family members.
As a result, Paulat said she plans to file harassment charges against Wilson.
