Find Out Where To Buy Malkin's Mom's Lucky Borscht Soup

PITTSBURGH —

Pittsburgh Penguins center Evgeni Malkin has said great food helps with his successes on the ice. He especially enjoys his mom's lucky borscht soup.

The owner of the 17th Street Cafe, Pat Joyce, is now serving Malkin's mom's special soup, hoping it will bring some luck to Pittsburgh.

The Pittsburgh Penguins will play the Red Wings at Mellon Arena on Tuesday. If the Pens win, the team will head back to Detroit for Game 7. A Penguins loss on Tuesday will mean a Stanley Cup win for the Red Wings.

Joyce made the lucky soup for Game 5 on Saturday and said he plans to make it for the rest of the Stanley Cup final games.

The 17th Street Cafe is located on Pittsburgh's South Side and is known for serving some great soups. Joyce and his staff have won the numerous soup awards. Watch Video About 17th Street Cafe
