Allie Abraham -- Sideline Shooter

Age: 17 School: Oakland Catholic High School Why did you apply to be a Skylights Sideline Shooter? I thought it would be an excellent opportunity to learn more about and get more experience with a field that I would love to pursue. What do you do in your spare time? At school, I am a member of the Chamber Singers, Masque (drama club), and National Honor Society. Outside of school activities, I take voice lessons and dance lessons. I am a student director of Larry Cervi's East End Kids, which is a teen song and dance ensemble. We perform at various malls, assisted living facilities, Kennywood/Idlewild/Hershey Park, Seven Springs, and two summers ago, we performed on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship! I also have a job as a server at Beatty Pointe Village, which keeps me very busy! Do you plan to pursue a career in television news? I am definitely hoping to pursue a career in broadcast journalism, and I'm so excited to learn more about it!
