Drunken Teens Result In Stricter Security At Local H.S. Football Games

CANONSBURG, Pa. —

Entry to one Pittsburgh-area high school's football games just got stricter.

Canon-McMillan School District officials are amping up security after three teenagers were found drunk inside the football team's stadium during their first home game of the year two weeks ago.

Canonsburg police said two of those teens were taken to a Pittsburgh-area hospital for treatment.

Now, the district will have security at the gates of the stadium, searching bags and purses for contraband.

Officials also said all kindergarten through eighth-grade students must be accompanied by an adult if they wish to enter.
