Knoch’s Mike King Named U.S. Army Coach Of The Year

PITTSBURGH —

The U.S. Army Harrisburg Recruiting Battalion announced on Tuesday that Knoch High School’s Mike King is the U.S. Army Coach of the Year for Pennsylvania.

King led the Knoch Knights to a 12-1 record this season.

Fans selected King as the U.S. Army Coach of the Year from among 10 finalists, including:

Roger Beitel – Ligonier Valley Ray Braszo – West Mifflin Bill Cherpak – Thomas Jefferson Jon Defoe – Bermudian Springs John Manion – Lampeter-Strasburg Dave McDonald - Connellsville Paul Reduzzi – Penn Argyl John Ruane – Penn-Trafford Matt Taylor - Burgettstown
