Local Travel Co. Offers Fans Packages To Game 7 In Detroit

A local travel company is offering travel packages to Detroit for the decisive Game 7 between the Penguins and Red Wings in the Stanley Cup Final.

Channel 11 News spoke with the president of Mt. Washington-based Sport Vacations, who said travel packages start around $700.

A full package includes bus transportation to Detroit, Game 7 tickets and hotel accommodation at the Detroit Riverside Hotel, which is two blocks from Joe Louis Arena.

"All of our packages come with either an upper level ticket or a lower level ticket,” said president Annie Williams. “If you wanted to upgrade your seats, you have that option, as well."

Packages can be purchased individually or in pairs.

The group’s bus leaves from the Duquesne Incline Friday 9 a.m.
