Myron Cope Released From Hospital

Legendary Steelers Broadcaster In Rehab Facility

PITTSBURGH —

Channel 11 has learned that Myron Cope, 77, was released from the hospital Wednesday afternoon and is currently recuperating at an undisclosed rehabilitation facility.

Cope was being treated at UPMC Presby for pneumonia.

The legendary Steelers broadcaster and creator of the "Terrible Towel" had not felt well for months.

Cope retired last summer after 35 years as a commentator for the Steelers.
