PITTSBURGH —

Penguins fans who don’t have tickets to Games 1 and 2 of the second round of the Stanley Cup playoffs at Mellon Arena can watch television broadcasts of the games on a large video screen outside the arena, weather permitting.

Game 1 of the Eastern Conference semifinal series against the New York Rangers will be played Friday at Mellon Arena, starting at 7 p.m.

Game 2 will be played Sunday at 2 p.m. and will be televised on WPXI.

A 12x16 LED screen has been set up in front of the Gate 3 entrance, near the marquee.

More than 2,000 fans were on hand to watch Game 4 of the first-round series against Ottawa.
