Petition Asks For Removal Of Steelers' Mascot

Fans Of Black And Gold Protest 'Steely McBeam'

 

PITTSBURGH —

Members of the Steelers Nation are protesting the new Steelers' mascot.

A new petition was formed against the new mascot "Steely McBeam."

The petition said the mascot does not represent the toughness of the Steel City.

The petition asks for the Rooneys to either change the name of the mascot or remove it all together.
