PITTSBURGH —
"I understand that being a Pittsburgh Steeler carries along with it the demands for responsible behavior off the field. I want to apologize for the negative attention that my arrest on Monday has brought upon the Pittsburgh Steelers organization, especially in light of my previous arrest in May."
Holmes was back in Pittsburgh Tuesday morning and talked to the team.
It was a planned meeting with coaches and administration. In addition to the meeting, Holmes also worked out.
On Monday, Holmes was arrested and charged him with domestic violence.
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger also came to the office for the first time since his motorcycle accident last week.
