Second-Oldest Living Negro League Baseball Player Dies

 

PITTSBURGH —

The second oldest living Negro League baseball player has died.

Wallace 'Bucky' Williams played for the Pittsburgh Monarchs, the Crawfords and the Homestead Grays.

He continued to live in Pittsburgh after his playing days.

He is an honorary member of the Negro League Hall of Fame.

Williams was 102.
