PITTSBURGH —
The Steelers head coach is starting to send signals he may indeed retire after this season.
Cowher delivered some very telling remarks to media in Charlotte, N.C. That's where the Steelers will meet the Panthers on Sunday.
Here's what Cowher told the media in Charlotte. The Beaver County Times acquired these quotes: "There will be something at the end of the year. I'll sit back and put a lot of thought into it and make a decision accordingly. Right now, my focus is purely on trying to find a way to win these last three games. A lot of deep thought will be put into it. It won't be a knee-jerk reaction. It will be something that is well thought out and a decision will be made accordingly."
Cowher is also quoted as saying he will make Raleigh his permanent home at some point.
The Steelers practice again Thursday on the South Side.
If Cowher has anything to say about his comments to the Charlotte media, Channel 11 will be there.
