Steelers' Ward, Parker Spend Time With Local Children

Ward Visits School, Parker Goes To Children's Hospital

PITTSBURGH —

Two Pittsburgh Steelers stars were out and about in Pittsburgh Tuesday.

Hines Ward went back to school. Ward picked up third-grader Drew Hreha from his house in a limousine. Then the pair headed to Apollo Ridge Elementary School in Spring Church.

Ward visited the principal’s office, Drew's classmates and talked about the importance of education and health. He also led a fitness activity.

And Fast Willie Parker made a special delivery at Children's Hospital.

The Steelers star joined with FedEx Ground employees to present a $5,000 check to Children's Hospital. Then Parker visited patients and participated in a Steelers party.

Fans voted Parker their favorite player from the Steelers recent win over the Cincinnati Bengals.
