PITTSBURGH —
Each Super Bowl team gets about 12,000 tickets for its fans. The league office, the host city and the other 29 teams split up the rest.

Tickets can be found on the internet at sites liked stubhub.com starting at about $1,600.
“It’s a once in a lifetime shot. If you can afford one time in a lifetime, do it,” said Rob Thorn of Leetsdale.
“It’s amazing but the Steelers are worth it,” said Stephanie Dorsey of Greensboro.
Michael Leduc from upstate New York thinks the Steelers are worth it, too. He brought his son Austin to the AFC Championship game and he already bought tickets at Christmas to take his family to Disney World on Super Bowl weekend in hopes the Steelers would be there.
We are going to Disney World that particular week. We are going to take a drive over to Tampa and I don't know if we will be able to get tickets to the game, but we will be there for the atmosphere," Leduc said.
And what does his 12-year-old son think of all this?
“Best year ever, so far."
If you’re willing to shell out the price, some travel agencies are offering travel packages to Tampa that include a Super Bowl ticket.
