Saturday 5/24 -- 9:24AM Detroit is the only major U.S. city that looks south to Canada. Game 1 is tonight. I think it's very important for the Pens to win one of the first two in Detroit. I expect a great series. Stay tuned!

Bill Phillips is correct---there are many, many Ohio State Troopers on the road!

It's a perfect day to be on the highway. Sunny and clear!

Friday 5/23 -- 10:02 AM The Channel 11 crew is on the road!

For the purposes of this blog, we'll call the crew "The Stanley Cup Seven!"

I'll be joined this weekend by award-winning reporters Bill Phillips and Gordon Loesch, and award-winning photojournalists Tim Holoman, "King" Richard Kenyon and Cary Schaffer.

Tim, in particular, has won just about every award except a "Tony," and if he could sing, he'd have one of those, too!

We'll also be joined by our satellite-on-wheels, Skylink, and our Satellite technician Dirk Verberschott.
