New Jersey's favorite son, Bruce Springsteen, surprised patrons at an Asbury Park bar with an impromptu two hour concert Saturday night, according to a story by CNN.
Springsteen took the Wonder Bar stage around 10:30 p.m., backed by the evening's scheduled act, Pittsburgh's Joe Grushecky and the Houserockers, the story says. They performed 15 songs, including classics Darkness on the Edge of Town, Because The Night, and The Promised Land, according to CNN.

Thanks to social media, news of the secret show spread quickly and crowds flocked to the club. "The whole street got completely packed with people," owner Debbie DeLisa told CNN. "It was insane."
Springsteen was known for surprise club gigs earlier in his career, but he hasn't done anything like Saturday's appearance in years, DeLisa said. "It was thrilling," she said. "It was a magical night."
Great show at The Wonder Bar tonight!!! Chris Daniels and The Proof, Billy Walton Band, Joe Grushecky and The HouseRockers and yes...Bruce Springsteen!
