'Star Wars' mask leads to pharmacy robbery arrests

NEW ALEXANDRIA, Pa. — Two men have been arrested in connection with a pharmacy robbery in Westmoreland County last week, according to police.

Employees were handcuffed and held at gunpoint during the heist at the Keystone Pharmacy on Route 22 in New Alexandria.

Surveillance video shows the robbers, who were wearing rubber masks, enter the store. Police said they took more than $2,000 and prescription painkillers.

During a similar robbery at Palmer’s Pharmacy in West Deer Township, one of the suspects wore a Kylo Ren Star Wars character mask.

Police discovered the mask was sold at Target, and surveillance video from the store led investigators to 65-year-old Stephan Corrick.

Police said Corrick admitted that he and 51-year-old Dana Shipley were the men behind the masks.
