State police asking for help finding inmate

State police are asking for the public’s help finding an inmate who failed to return following his approved work release.

Troopers are looking for Chad Heasley Jr., 27, of Trafford.

Investigators said he was supposed to return to the Renewal Community Corrections Center following work release on Saturday, but he never showed up.

Heasley Jr. is currently serving time for theft, police said.

There’s now a warrant for his arrest on escape charges.
